Sweet cranberries with tomatoes and rice noodles

2 tbsp salt
4 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup cranberries dries
2 tbsp mustered seeds
2 tbsp  asafetida
2 tbsp turmeric
8 salted capers
12 tbsp olive oil ( six for the toasting of the spices and the rest at the end for the flavor and Beaty)
Three cans of tomatoes chopped
1 nonstick pan

Add the six tbsp of olive oil, than the spices, first  the  dried cranberries, than mustered and capers, tip for cooking, one never adds the  powders as they burn so they are always added at last at last.
Than add the tomatoes from the cans all three of them , add 2 tbsp of salt and 4  of sugar and cook on low heat till is real thick and you turn and can's see juice, add the remaining tbsp a of oil and switch off!

Can always adjust to taste the salt and sugar to your preference!

And you are done, now make the rice spaghetti ( noodles )

1 pack rice noodles 400g follow instructions of packet!

I pardon my self for the pictures cause my camera is not working and can't find the charger! Ironic

Basmati rice with home made ghi

For ever in my house we have cooked rice like this, at my in laws I was parsed to have a well cooked  rice and the grains where seen.

1 cup rice basmati long grain
2 cups boiling water
1 tbsp home made ghi
Salt to own taste

Heat I pot up with 2 cups of water to boil, when ready  set aside
 With another pot heat up
Add 1 tbsp ghi
Add the 1 cup rice , toast with ghi,
Than add the 2 cups of boiling water
Let it come to a boil and lower the heat
When the water has dried the rice should be cooked,
If it is but has a little left put the lid back on  turn the fire off and it will continue to cook with it's steam.

Them you serve it will be a rice that you can see all the grains not a mushi rice!

Home made prune jam with a hint of chilli!

So I was making a jam, when my mum was cleaning the fridge and said oh look we still have the red chillies!

I took them from her and pulled all the seeds out and cleaned them well and just added them to the the jam!

So here is the recipe and well it's grate the look the texture and the taste!

So Ike so many jam recipes I see they add the apple or lemon for the preserve but as this jam is made of prunes and there is chillie there is no need!

12 pealed and chopped prunes fresh
1cup sugar ( I used brown suger refined so the colour is light but if you use the dark one the colour will be darker!)
1 1/2 cup water boling
3 small red fresh  chillies

Blend all ingridents except the chillies
Get a non stich pan and add everything
After it has come to a boil add the chillie
Than lower the flame and let it get thick
How you know when it's done?
Well there is the way of putting some on a play and putting it the frizzer for a 1 min, that's  how you know how thick it Will be  cooled completely.
Than there is well the eye that you know by looking
I think the best is to make it till when you turn the jam this thick like a grave than switch it off
Add it to a sterilized glass jar
If you add it when hot and close the lid after a while that is cooling you will here like a pop from the lid and you know it has sealed for long conservation.
The time is always different cause the ingridents change in every house the end results is the same.
This is the jam with the bread backed by me!
